pretentious lay music connoisseur

I miss listening to music so I borrowed my brother's player. I realized that if I were asked as to what type of music I prefer, I wouldn't be able to say one genre outright. One thing's for sure, I love songs that make me feel good and have unpredictable chord transitions. I'm as easily attracted to catchy songs as I'm immediately bored with them. There are very few songs that I never ever get tired of listening to. There's Folk Song and When I'm Thinking About You by The Sundays, Save Room by John Legend, and Rise and Fall by Craig David and Sting. Also, I like songs that are consistent...meaning, the mood of the melody complements the words. I love Coldplay's The Scientist, Ne-Yo's So Sick, and that new song Stolen by Dashboard Confessional. I find it weird when a happy-sounding song has lyrics that talk about being heartbroken to the point of committing suicide.

That is why I super love the Beatles. And the Cranberries. And the Sundays. And Craig David. And John Legend.

For now. You never know, I might have a different opinion tomorrow.....I can be very fickle
