officially devoid of wisdom

My last wisdom tooth was finally yanked out of my jaw forever. The eruption of the 3rd molar at my left upper jaw commenced last thursday night. It felt uncomfortable. Come friday morning, I had to start taking pain medication because I was having difficulty opening my mouth.

This morning: the left side of my face was swollen! I had to take at least 500mg of mefenamic acid to numb the pain! I needed to go to the dentist ASAP. By 11am, it was gone.

But the trauma.... I take pride in the fact that my pain tolerance is high, but dental procedures are just painful! I'd rather recover from a c-section! I'm serious...not funny...I cried this afternoon. Thank you dentist/orthodontic surgeon for prescribing me with 550mg of Naproxen. It numbs perfectly! But I can still taste the blood....oh, the horror.
