Some of my favorite pieces of art

Except for Rodin's "The Thinker" I've never seen the real version of the other pieces enumerated here. That is going to be one of my greatest goals in life. I remember seeing some Cezanne & Renoir pieces at the Glyptotek in Copenhagen (and a single Van Gogh painting of a bridge) and was teary-eyed. Picture taking was, of course, prohibited. I was the only person (aside from the Danish guard) on the floor and I can't even describe the feeling on my chest and throat that time. I'm not being artsy fartsy. I just can't deny the emotions when I see and actually relate to art (especially the ones below). I don't have an extensive art history background, but I'm human. And I guess that's enough reason for me to like art.

"Son of Man" Rene Magritte

"Espelho" Rene Magritte

"The False Mirror" Rene Magritte

"Girl with a Pearl Earring" Johannes Vermeer

"The Thinker" Auguste Rodin

"Starry Night" Vincent Van Gogh
