Ourstory
I took a photo of the ceiling at the Royal Ontario Museum’s (ROM) lobby at the Weston entrance on Queen’s Park while taking a break during our museum adventure today. It says “that all men may know his work”, which I recently learned was a biblical passage. Certainly very apt.
This long weekend was an opportunity to revisit the ROM after ~5 years. I thoroughly enjoyed the sections on Greece, dinosaurs, bugs, Egypt, and rocks. There were sample meteorites!…most likely the only way I will ever encounter anything outer spacey. The history of life on Earth is awesome, isn’t it? Such a short interval of time we each occupy in the timeline of existence. We are so small individually compared to everything else, yet still massively important in terms of our collective impact. Like drops of water. Or snowflakes. Will definitely return soon. You know, I think I’d like to visit an art gallery and immerse in other people’s expression of reality. Wouldn’t that be a great way to examine our lives, huh?
I found a post over a decade old about some pieces that I would very much like to see in person. I have a hefty bucket list, you see. A list that may remain unchecked. It’s not even a concrete list…it’s here and there in my head…or this blog. Oh well.

Update after a nap and watching Wedding Crashers and the Nanny Diaries: I should tone down the intensity, eh? Chill a bit, live more, and be less ‘artsy fartsy’. 😆
